The role of local chambers of commerce has become more important than ever over the last couple of years as the economic recession has challenged businesses across the state. The ability to bring together local businesses to strengthen the bottom line of local companies cannot be underestimated. The value of networking, advocacy, business development and business promotion is at the core of chamber memberships.

Strong chambers are led by strong and capable volunteers, who at the same time, having the responsibility for leading or managing a business. Volunteer engagement and leadership is at the core of any successful organization.

This conference is designed to bring together volunteer leaders and chamber staff from local chambers of commerce across Minnesota. It provides an opportunity to hear what's working in successful organizations, learn from experts and share ideas with others that share a commitment to strong business community and local economy.
