PLAN TO ATTEND: MCCE FALL CONFERENCE SEPTEMBER 28 - 30
The Minnesota Chamber of Commerce Executives (MCCE) Fall Conference will be held September 28-30 at Chase on the Lake in Walker, Minnesota. Our host, Cindy Wannarka, Leech Lake Area Chamber and members of the planning committee, Teresa Bohnen, St. Cloud Area Chamber and Lori Paris, Bemidji Area Chamber have developed a great event and excellent agenda. We hope that you make plans today to join us at this terrific resort for what promises to be highly valuable conference!

The theme for the conference is “Building Tomorrow’s Chamber on a Solid Foundation.” The conference will focus on where the economy is heading, and how to position our chambers to be effective organizations based on the fundamentals - advocacy, high level networking, economic development, tourism and strong volunteer relationships. We also have secured a speaker on certificate of origin, and have planned many other relevant presentations.

A conference agenda will be out shortly, but we want to encourage you to make your reservations today.  Chase on the Lake has provided outstanding room rates for our attendees for both hotel rooms and 2 bedroom condos, and the rates are extended two days before and after the conference.

Our members are stressed with an uncertain economic and political environment. Our jobs as chamber professionals are more challenging than ever. Take this opportunity to learn, relax and return to your chamber with innovative ideas and lots of energy!

Cost is: $250 per person (includes all speaker costs, meals and entertainment).

LODGING
Contact Chase on the Lake at (888) 242-7306 and request your room in the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce Executives room block. The rate for a classic hotel room is $99 plus tax and the rate per person, for a two bedroom condo is $89 plus tax.

For room and rate guarantee, all reservations must be made by September 7.  So DON'T DELAY, reserve your room today!

Don’t forget the MCCE Auction! Annually at the Fall Conference, Chambers bring or send items, baskets, packages and more to participate in the MCCE annual auction, which raises funds for the scholarship program through the Minnesota Chamber Foundation. Last year, nearly $4,000 was raised for the MCCE Scholarship Fund.

The auction this year will be held on Thursday, September 29 at Chase on the Lake in Walker. Please consider donating an item, even if you will not be able to participate in the conference. MCCE provides over $7,000 in scholarship money each year. We need your support to continue to provide high quality educational opportunities!
